HORUNAVI STAMP CARVING BLOCKS
Easy to carve and easy to stamp, Horunavi Stamp Carving Blocks are the perfect material to make your designs into soft, strong, reusable stamps.
There are lots of soft stamp-carving blocks out there, so why buy this one? SEED Horunavi has a top layer with a contrasting color, so you can see your design clearly as you carve away the negative space. Printmakers often prepare their plates with a marker for this purpose, but that's messy and slow compared to Horunavi's bi-color design.
You'll also notice that Horunavi's special vinyl formula is less crumbly and more precise than the pink blocks typically found in U.S. art supply stores. So you don't have to sacrifice detail for the sake of easier carving.
This is a medium Horunavi block, measuring just under 4" x 6" (the exact measurements are 148 x 100 mm.) Use linocut tools to carve this substrate. You can slice it into multiple pieces to make smaller stamps.
